Another significant task today concludes the week. We had previously visited this site earlier in the week to address a minor issue and observed a bend in the first span. Returning with new pipe, we successfully realigned the machine ready for service during the hot days ahead in the next week

Following a concerted effort from all parties involved, the TL irrigator has been successfully restored to operational status. After collapsing three days prior to Christmas with a maize crop underneath, a rapid response was crucial to dismantle the damaged components and install a 90% new pivot system. Working through the holiday period under challenging conditions, including hot and dry weather, the team achieved reinstatement in 14 days from failure. Last week marked its inaugural operation, where it will distribute water over potato crops, with numerous subsequent runs anticipated.
