Two liftgate installations, two different setups, with the same attention to proper fitment.

These projects involved fitting a Dhollandia liftgate and a Tommy Gate liftgate to their respective truck trays, with each installation completed around the requirements of the setup.

The process included hydraulic and electrical integration, control systems and safety features, load and performance testing, as well as the painting and custom modifications required for installation.

This job needed more than a standard workshop approach.

When a project calls for something outside the usual process, the solution comes down to experience, creativity and the ability to adapt.

In this case, the customer needed a custom part with a clean 90° bend, without deforming it. We didn't have a bending die at the moment, so our team fabricated one specifically for the application.

It’s a good example of what practical problem-solving looks like in our workshop: understanding what the job requires, developing the right solution and making it work.

Outrigger pads spread the load from the stabilisers over a larger surface area, reducing ground pressure and creating a more stable base for the crane.

On softer surfaces like soil, gravel or hot asphalt, they help prevent sinking and reduce the risk of movement during lifting operations.

During a 10-Year Major Inspection, non-destructive testing (NDT) is a mandatory part of the inspection process. One of the most common methods is ultrasonic testing, which helps assess the internal integrity of the material and identify what cannot be seen from the surface.

Ultrasonic testing is also used to measure wall thickness, helping detect material loss caused by internal or external corrosion, as well as previous abrasive blasting processes.
