Memory lane stuff of a 1969 Aston Martin we had in for major structural, mechanical and full retrim restorations , many moons ago. Owner spent over $130k , but sadly ended up selling the DB6 for a song , due to being modified which removed its true sale value.

Stunning E30 that come thru some time ago. Loved the smell of rich Leather and Suede Rooflining. Braking sytem was ineffient. Brake master cylinder mod to larger 25mm bore is a no no.

Current trend of yearly Engine Oil Changes and a combination of our fuel quality spells for extreme premature engine degradation in terms of wear , oil leakages and excessive oil consumption.
ADVICE
Oil changes therefore should be performed at no more than 7000km intervals or every 8 month.

Australia has the worst petrol in the western world
UPDATED: Archaic government standards and lack of action around high sulphur-content fuel means you will have less choice on the showroom floor.

MERCEDES-BENZ is unable to offer the most efficient versions of some four-cylinder and V6 petrol engines in Australia due to the high sulphur content of local fuel.

Mercedes-Benz Australia product manager Gordon Jones told GoAuto the company has to fit homogenous direct injection (DEH) systems instead of the more efficient stratified direct injection (DES) system to cars destined for high-sulphur markets like Australia.
