🚗 WE’RE HIRING – PARTS INTERPRETER / SALESPERSON 🔧

Tassie Auto Wreckers (TAW) is growing, and we’re looking for a motivated Parts Interpreter / Salesperson to join our team.

We’re a busy, hands-on auto wrecking business with an increasing number of customers and sales enquiries. We’re looking for someone who can jump in, help our customers find the right parts and become an important part of the team.

This is a great opportunity for someone with auto parts experience, but we’re also open to someone who has a genuine interest in cars and the right attitude to learn.

🔧 What you’ll be doing:

• Answering inbound phone enquiries and assisting customers with parts sales
• Responding to online enquiries and processing sales
• Identifying and locating the correct parts for customers
• Providing friendly, knowledgeable customer service
• Processing orders and purchase orders
• Picking and preparing parts for customers
• Receiving and organising incoming stock
• Pricing, tagging and maintaining parts and stock
• Working as part of a small, friendly and fast-paced team

👇 We’re looking for someone who:

• Has excellent communication and customer service skills
• Has a confident and friendly phone manner
• Is comfortable talking to customers and making sales
• Has an interest in cars, automotive parts or the automotive industry
• Can understand a customer’s problem and help find the right solution
• Is organised, reliable and able to work independently
• Is well presented and takes pride in their work
• Is willing to learn and get stuck in

Previous experience in automotive parts, wrecking or parts interpreting is highly regarded, but it’s not essential for the right person.

Experience with European vehicles would be an advantage.

🚘 About the role

This is a hands-on role in a growing business where no two days are exactly the same. You’ll be working closely with our existing team and will receive training and support to help you get up to speed.

Most importantly, we’re looking for someone who is friendly, motivated, reliable and genuinely wants to be part of a growing business.

📍 Location: Devonport
🕐 Hours: Full time Monday-Friday
💰 Pay: $30-$40 per hour negotiable based on experience

There is someone doing a pretty poor job at attempting to mimic our business and scam people of there hard earned money.

We will NEVER ask for payment via facebook messenger. If you are unsure please call the office, never giver your credit card details over facebook messenger or pay into an account that seems SUSPICIOUS.

This customer was about to make payments into a bank account given to them but had the feeling something was off and called us first and luckily they did.
