We’ve added a 30 tonne hydraulic wood splitter to the Hitch & Go line-up, permanently mounted to a handy 6x4 trailer so you can tow it to where the work is.

Perfect for smashing through the firewood pile without destroying your back, shoulders, elbows, patience, marriage, or general will to live.

Well, it’s finally home.

For those who’ve been following along, our stolen car trailer has been recovered and is nearly ready to return to the hire fleet.

A couple of new tyres have already been fitted thanks to the legends at Ballarat Mobile Tyres, because apparently it was driven exactly how you’d expect a stolen trailer to be driven.

There’s still a few touch-ups to do, but it won’t be long before it’s back earning its keep.

Unfortunately the winch, toolbox and battery have all decided not to come home with it. If anyone happens to have seen them wandering around looking lost, we’d love to hear from you.

You might also notice a certain sticker on the tow vehicle.

The timing is purely coincidental, of course 😉.

A huge thank you to everyone who shared posts, passed on information and helped along the way. The support from locals has been unreal, and it’s played a big part in getting this trailer back where it belongs.

The trailer’s nearly back to work.
