Australian Endurance Championship - SMSP 3 hour! Great to have the big Mercedes AMG back on track. Perfect weekend got pole position and took out the race win 🥇 Big thanks to G Muzz and our Grand Prix Motorsport crew, Matt Garlan for engineering a perfect race strategy and Glenn Walker for being an amazing co-driver. Looking forward to the next enduro at QR next month.

A fantastic way to end the GT4 season with podium finishes in both races. Race 1 saw the mighty AMG qualify P6 and finish an impressive 3rd outright, race 2 yielded an even better result qualifying P3 and finishing an impressive 2nd outright.
A big thanks goes to the entire team at Gomersall Motorsport for all their support all year and massive shout out to Glenn and Aaron Seton for the huge effort they put into prepping the car and their top shelf engineering skills.

Rounds 7 & 8 Phillip Island – GT4 Monochrome Series
Race wrap up:
A solid weekend for Jake Camilleri and Team Gomersall, with perfect racing conditions on the island the car ran smoothly through qualifying and was on the pace with a respectable 6th place in race 1
Race 2 saw Jake climb up the ladder which saw the AMG finish in outright 4th.
Next event will be hosted at Sydney Motorsport Park on the 18th of October

Its practice day at Phillip Island for Jake Camilleri and the Gomersall Motorsport Team as they prep the Mercedes AMG to go into battle for rounds 7 & 8 of the Monochrome GT4 Australia series.

🏁 Race 2 🏁
After starting in 6th, we finished 3rd outright and 3rd in Silver category! Such an amazing race and weekend with the new car and a new team. Huge thanks to Glenn, Aaron and Chris who were on it all weekend. Also would love to thank a new sponsor we’ve got on board this season which is Australian Security Company! Thanks everyone for the support and messages over the weekend! Can’t wait to see what we can do in Round Two at Tailem Bend at the end of May!

Jake will be starting today’s race from 11th after a tricky qualifying earlier today. With track conditions hard to read, being a wet track in some places and a drying track in others it was hard making the decision of which tyres to run on. Being only a 10 minute session we needed to make the call quickly and ultimately it didn’t work in our favour! The car is feeling good and we’re confident for a good race this afternoon. Watch the race on 7plus at 4:15pm. It has been shortened to 40 minutes because of an incident in an earlier race causing delays.
