🚧 Upcoming works at Darlington Point Riverside Caravan & Tourist Park

We would like to advise the community that demolition of the old caretaker’s residence at the Darlington Point Riverside Caravan & Tourist Park will start on Thursday 11 June 2026.

As part of these works, asbestos will be safely removed by licensed contractors, in line with all relevant safety and environmental requirements.

To ensure public safety:
• Temporary fencing will be installed around the caretaker’s residence site
• The remainder of the park will remain open and operating as normal

During this time, the park office will be temporarily relocated about 5–10 metres towards the river, well clear of the demolition area.

These works are funded by Murrumbidgee Council and the NSW Office of Local Government.
