Mercedes Benz ML63 AMG Maxx Performance Stage 2 Package

This 2015 MercedesBenz ML63 AMG came Maxx Performance as the owner was
looking for more performance while retaining the refinement and drivability expected from a luxury performance SUV.

After discussions with the customer our stage 2 ML63 package was chosen as the best option giving both gains in performance and a slightly more aggressive exhaust note.

Stage 2 Includes:
- K&N High Flow Performance Air Filters
- Upgraded High Flow Performance Downpipes
- Maxx Performance Custom Dyno Tune

With the upgrades installed we put the ML63 on the Mainline Hub Dyno and developed a custom calibration to suit the new hardware.

The result:

416awkw

That’s a gain of 100awkw over stock along with approximately 200Nm more torque!

The difference on the road is immediately noticeable with sharper throttle response, stronger power delivery and a slightly more aggressive exhaust note all while still retaining the refinement to comfortably cruise around on daily duties.

A huge transformation for the big AMG proving there’s plenty of performance hiding in SUVs.

Nissan Y62 Patrol Maxx Performance Custom Multi Map Dyno Tune

Another Y62 Patrol into Maxx Performance for a custom ECUTek Multi Map engine and transmission dyno tune.

- Secondary cat pipes and Catback exhaust
- K&N high flow panel air filter
- Maxx Performance Custom ECUTek Multi Map engine tune ( including no start map )

With the upgrades already completed we bolted the Patrol up to our Mainline Hub Dyno and got to work developing a custom calibration for both the engine and transmission.

Ford Territory Turbo Custom 4” Exhaust & Maxx Performance Tune

This 2007 Turbo Territory has been a regular at Maxx Performance previously modified and tuned by us making 502awkw.
With roll racing on the owner's schedule the existing 3.5” exhaust was holding the setup back so we got to work designing and fabricating a custom 4” Maxx Performance turbo back exhaust.

Mods now include
- H-beam rods / stock pistons
- Oil pump gears

- Kelford 218-B camshafts

- Walbro in-tank fuel pump
- Custom surge tank with 2x Walbro 460 pumps
- CAW intake plenum & fuel rail

Once the new exhaust was fabricated and fitted we bolted the Territory up to our Mainline AWD Hub Dyno and got to work refining the Haltech calibration to suit the new freer flowing exhaust system.
Tuned via the Haltech plug and play ECU with an 8 button CAN keypad, the setup features Multiple boost levels, Traction control, Fan overrides and is also Flex fuel tuned.

The result:

A decent jump in power since its last visit the extra flow from the 4” exhaust removing the restriction and this thing boogies!
A bit of a sleeper the car even surprised a few people at the recent Roll Racing event.

Nissan Y62 Patrol Maxx Performance Custom Multi Map Dyno Tune

This 2023 Y62 Patrol arrived at Maxx Performance for a custom ECUTek Multi Map engine and transmission tune

Already fitted with extractors and full exhaust we fitted a K&N high flow air filter before getting to work on the custom tuning calibration.

The mods now include:

- K&N High Flow Panel Air Filter
- Maxx Performance Custom ECUTek Multi Map engine tune ( including Performance, Towing/ touring and no start map )
- Maxx Performance Custom Transmission Tune

Great day out yesterday at rollracingmelbourne

Thanks to everyone involved, The atmosphere was awesome, the weather played ball and we had the little EJ singing all day!

With some heavy hitters in the lineup we were always just there for some fun and data collection and the car didn’t miss a beat all day.

We were also surprised by the amount of support the car received with plenty of people stopping by for a chat and checking out the setup. It was great to have so many people interested in the car and what we’re doing with it!

FG F6 Ute Maxx Performance Custom Dyno Tune

This 2011 FG F6 Ute came into Maxx Performance for a custom dyno tune after the owner added a new turbo back exhaust and turbo side intake to his existing combination.

With the freer flowing exhaust and existing modifications to make sure the boost control was stable and properly controlled we completed a Maxx Performance flapper mod along with an intercooler piping kit to not only help with clearance but replace the factory plastic piping which is prone to popping hoses off. We also fitted a set of genuine Ford spark plugs before getting the ute onto the dyno.

Ford Territory Turbo Maxx Performance Custom Dyno Tune

This 2007 Turbo Territory came into Maxx Performance after the owner had completed a freshen up and a solid round of modifications. It was now time for us to get it on the dyno, tie everything together and see what we could get out of the combination.

Modifications as Arrived:

- 1000cc Injectors
- Walbro High Flow Fuel Pump
- Upgraded Turbo & External wastegate
- 4” exhaust
- Front mount intercooler
- FG inlet manifold
- Valve springs & Head Studs

Before hitting the dyno we fitted genuine Ford spark plugs and coils to ensure the ignition system was up to the task and to eliminate any potential hiccups under load.

We then bolted the Territory onto our Mainline Hub Dyno and got to work on the custom Maxx Performance engine and transmission calibration.

The result:

With the added traction of AWD the Territory is able to put the power down and make the most of the upgraded combination. Plenty of power on tap makes for a cool sleeper!

2020 Ford Mustang GT Maxx Performance Stage 2 Package

This Mustang GT came into Maxx Performance with the owner looking for more performance and a slightly more aggressive exhaust note.

Our Maxx Performance Stage 2 Mustang package ticked all the boxes and we also added an X pipe resonator delete to give the Coyote a more agressive note.

We also fitted the X pipe resonator delete before bolting the Mustang up to our Mainline Hub Dyno and getting to work on the custom calibration.
