❄️ Keeping the Cab Cool!

A customer asked us to inspect the AC system on this A60 manure turner, and after checking the system, we found the evaporator was badly blocked and restricting airflow into the cab.

A good clean was all it needed to get the airflow back where it should be. Now she’ll be nice and cool and ready for summer! 🔧❄️🚜

🚒 Rescue Truck Roadside Repair

This rescue truck started overheating while out on the road, so we headed out to find the cause.

The root cause was a worn pulley that had caused the belt to fail. We allowed the engine to cool, safely released the radiator pressure, checked the engine oil and manually rotated the engine to make sure it wasn’t seized.

Once everything checked out, we replaced the belt, fixed the issue and got the engine running again. After monitoring the temperature, the truck was back on the road. 💪🔧

🔧 Preventative Maintenance | John Deere Fleet

Jhomar is carrying out preventative maintenance across this fleet of John Deere tractors, replacing all the idler oils and recording the condition of each unit along the way.

Keeping on top of maintenance now helps keep the fleet working reliably when it matters. 🚜💪

🔧 432E Backhoe Cylinder Repair

Resealing the stick cylinder on this 432E backhoe. We found the supplied seal kit was for the newer updated gland, so we’ve had to track down the correct seals for the older-style gland to get the job done right.

A little extra parts hunting, but we’ll get it sorted! 💪🚜

🔧 A bit of diagnostic work happening in the workshop!

Currently remapping an Isuzu FSS550 fire truck while also using our Jaltest diagnostic laptop to clear faults and troubleshoot AMT transmission issues on a Kenworth K104. 🚒🚛

A productive trip to Port Hedland! 🚛🔧

We travelled up to explore the possibility of opening a WCM workshop in the area, including looking at a potential site and speaking with some local businesses.

We also took some time to explore the town and watch the incredible activity happening through the Port.

And the numbers really put it into perspective — Port Hedland handles around 580 million tonnes of iron ore every year, close to 1.6 million tonnes a day, and accounts for around 60% of WA’s iron ore exports. One ship can carry up to 270,000 tonnes, with more than 50 ships waiting to be loaded at busy times. 🚢⛏️

A great opportunity to see the area, meet locals and get a feel for what the future could look like for WCM in Port Hedland.
