Queensland raceway today for the open pit lane .
Was the first outing for the Holden Calibra (ex graham smith ) that has been a long term build . It has hit to track today for the first time in a long time .
With that being at the track we took the Mazda for a test on the national track and after some changers from the last test we are going in the right direction and very happy with the result.

Wow what a birthday weekend, I spent the weekend at Phillip island classic running my group A Mustang for the first time...

Wow what a birthday weekend, I spent the weekend at Phillip island classic running my group A Mustang for the first time . ( the X Kevin Clark Mustang ) the weather was amazing , was great to catch up with friends and race track family.
Was great to start p20 after qualifying that was given as there was a issue in qualifying
Race 1
Moved from p20 to p 13 and had a very good race with a Mercedes super tourer .

Race 2
Moved from p13 to p9 and had a really good car with Anthony Tenkate with his group C commodore and picking him on the last lap
.
To have Pwr oil cooler fail on the cool down lap . Put us out for the final race . Due to a start line incident the final race was cancelled.

Mazda sport sedan testing at Queensland raceway this afternoon, and yet again it was bloody hot . Really starting to get my head around this now . Still along way to go but enjoying it as we move forward.

Qld in summer 🤦‍♂️ , today was the first mid week sprint of the year at Queensland Raceway and after doing a lot of work over Christmas it was time to test it . Today was 35 deg in the shade was bloody hot as an understatement.. Jonathan king and myself went to qr and used the sprint as a test day , lots laps minimal entry’s today ( smart ppl ) .
Jon’s vl ran faultless all day .. good testing for the first round that’s only 6 odd weeks away .

The Mazda we have got on top of a few little issues an we are now moving forward with a very good package.
A very big thank you to 12volt performance (Chris ) and Oliver for there help today I could not do this with out you … 🙏🙏🙏
Big thank you to my most amazing wife Alison for photos and cold drinks 😘.
More test coming on a little bit cooler months

The last test for the year , and it was hot at Queensland raceway this morning.
The mazda we are moving in the right direction got a few little bits sorted but have a few more to get sorted over the Xmas break .

The vl was very well driven this morning by Jonathan king . Sounded great and went very well . He is going to try and campaign all the Qld sport sedan rounds next year this is only going to get faster the more miles he dose .
