To all our friends, followers and travellers.
Over the last 9 years Margot & I have been privileged to own and operate the Curlwaa Caravan Park. During this time, we have welcomed many thousands of you into our caravan park and trusted that your stay with us was enjoyable. We have also made some massive improvements during our time here including setting out heaps of large grassy sites with new powerheads, building our camp kitchen, installing a state-of-the-art water filtration plant to have drinking water from every tap just to mention a few. We have been proud of our achievements and very thankful for the hundreds of positive comments left for us on Google and Wiki Camps. Now our time here is at an end. We have chosen to sell our caravan park and move to our next adventure, whatever that may be. We have greatly enjoyed our time here and have made many friends. We will miss meeting new people but there comes a time when you just “know” it’s time to move on. We will be moving on from 1st September this year and would love to see as many of you as possible before we go. We would also like to thank you all for your support over the years and your patience during our upgrades. We wish everyone who reads this the very best for the future and maybe even see some of you on the road when we start travelling. Again, thank you all so much. In the lead up to Easter, and in fact for the entire month of April we are placing a huge 10% discount on all our local Trentham Estate wine range. Usually $18.50 in and around Mildura but we will only be $16.65 across our entire range. Beers also cheaper than usual......only $19.95 per 6 pk. Your aquakem chemicals; our price for concentrate $17.95. BCF, Supercheap etc, over $30.00. Powered site prices.....our price $35.00*, the redeveloped caravan park in Wentworth, a minimum of $55.00 off peak. Remember, Easter is considered "peak" everywhere else than us. Don't forget ANZAC Day. We will again be streaming the dawn service in Rhona's Hut (camp kitchen) and have our Gunfire Breakfast from 8.00am. Bacon, eggs, sausages etc. Tea and coffee (with a dash of rum) (donations will be welcome and forwarded on to the RSL). Come along and share the day with those who have served or are still serving our country in our caravan park which is owned and operated by an ex-serviceman and his wife. Heading to Mildura on the Murray for Easter? Can't find anywhere to park up or don't want to pay the huge prices? Come along to the Curlwaa Caravan Park. Only about 20 mins from Mildura, across the road from the Murray River with a boat ramp 200mts down the road. We've got all your needs covered. General store, Bottleshop (generally as cheap as Mildura or cheaper, only $19.95 for a 6pk beer!!), caravan essentials and huge grassy sites. Swimming pool, large fully equipped camp kitchen, grassed recreation area and yes, we are pet friendly. At only $35.00 per night (for up to 2 people) on a powered site we rekon you will find us great value for money. Hi to all our friends, followers and travellers. We have entered into an exciting new age....we are now bookable through Hipcamps Aus. Head to their website or download their app. Will save filling out forms etc when you check in to our caravan park. While you're here why not take a dip in our swimming pool while you wait for us to prepare your fish and chips for dinner...yep, all this is available from the Curlwaa Caravan Park. You can even stock up on your "beverage" needs from our in house bottleshop. About as cheap as Mildura bottleshops, AND we are a whole lot cheaper to stay in than other parks. Well, we did it again. We won 1st prize in the Wentworth Shire Council Christmas Lights competition for business. Very happy indeed. Lights will be going for the next 3 weeks so come along for a night or 3 and enjoy our nice grassy caravan park complete with pool, camp kitchen, bottleshop, gas refills and more. Don't pay over $60 per night in Mildura or Wentworth (yep, the council has sold off the leasehold to their renovated caravan park, good to see our tax dollars at work :| ), come stay with us for only $35 per night (for up to 2 people) No minimum nights, stay for 1 or stay for more. Hi there friends, followers and travellers. As some of you will know, when we bought this caravan park the water was pumped straight from the river. A few years ago we installed a filtration plant at quite a cost which was made defunct due to the floods a couple of years ago. We replaced and relocated our filtration plant at our cost and have been using this system since. A few people have been a tad suspect as to the quality of the water so we made the decision to have our water professionally tested. On 18th Sept this year we commissioned Analytical Laboratories and Technical Services Australia (ALTSA) to conduct a fully comprehensive water quality testing procedure on the water we supply through our caravan park, including our swimming pool. We received the results of this test today, 30th Sept and can say that our water quality test passed with flying colors. We can now say that our water is totally safe and drinkable from every tap within our caravan park including our sites, cabins, amenities blocks, everywhere. It has been a long and expensive battle to be able to provide potable water through our caravan park but we have made it and are happy to say it loud and strong. We even have the report to back our claims. We would like to thank all our guests, patrons and supporters for being behind us and encouraging us to keep at it to be able to provide a quality country style caravan park at a reasonable rate for all to enjoy.
