I've had a student ONCE fail their drive test for stopping for pedestrians at speed bump the same as the 2nd picture (Austin Rd , Seaford).
Its deemed as just stopping in the middle of the road for no reason. From now one I make sure I tell everyone, "DO NOT STOP FOR PEDESTRIANS HERE, THERE'S NO LINES, THERE'S NO YELLOW FEET" πΈ
Can you spot the difference? π§π
A pedestrian crossing is not the same as a speed hump.
β
Pedestrian crossings are usually marked by complete white parallel stripes on the road.
β
They're also known as zebra crossings π¦
β
They can have a yellow sign showing a pair of legs.
β
Cars must slow down and give pedestrians way.
