Is your NP300 leaking oil from the intercooler hoses? 🔧

This NP300 came in with leaking boost hoses and a leaking throttle body pipe. While we had it in the workshop, we also gave it a little more lift and sorted out a pesky transfer case oil leak.

Is your diesel trying to tell you something?

This NP300 came to us with a horrible injector knock that definitely didn’t sound right.

We removed the injectors, had them bench tested and cleaned, repined the rail relief valve, and got this Nissan from a knocking motor back to a smooth-running engine.

The reminder is simple — if it doesn’t sound right, it probably isn’t.

Ignoring small noises can quickly turn hundreds into thousands, and with the cost of living the way it is, that’s money nobody wants to be spending.

Don’t wait until it’s too late. Get it checked early.

Another last-minute call came through from a customer concerned about a noise coming from the front end.

We got the vehicle in, diagnosed the issue and, with a fresh set of pads and rotors, had it back on the road in no time.

At DTE Automotive, we take pride in our workmanship and, most importantly, we show up when our customers need us. Whether it’s a strange noise, a mechanical issue or general maintenance — no matter the make or model, we’ve got you covered.

There are some BIG plans happening behind the scenes, including a much bigger shed in a far more convenient location. But for now… you’ll just have to wait and see. 👀

Bringing This Hilux Back to Life 🔧🔥

This Hilux came to us for a service and inspection, and after a proper, open and honest assessment of the vehicle, the customer gave us the green light to bring it back to life — and that’s exactly what we did.

We went right through it and fitted:

🔧 New PSR upper control arms
🔧 New PSR adjustable front struts
🔧 New lower control arms
🔧 New front brake pads & rotors
🔧 New front caliper after finding seized pistons in the original
🔧 New shackle bushes & greasable shackles
🔧 Full set of new filters and a fresh service

And to finish it off, we fitted a fresh set of Dirty Life DT3 wheels wrapped in Maxxis Razr 33s, supplied by JAX Tyres Toowoomba.

Big thanks to our man Eddie for looking after us and getting the right gear sorted. 🤝

But honestly, this is the part we love the most — hearing the customer’s feedback after they get back behind the wheel:
