We're now a featured seller on DownThunder, the Australian 4WD community site that's just been rebuilt from the ground up.

What that means for you:

- Our parts are listed with reviews from owners who've actually fitted them. Read what other people think before you buy.
- Already bought from us? Leave a review and help the next person make the right call.
- Add the gear to your rig's build sheet, so everyone can see how it looks fitted.
- Our store is on the map, with opening hours, if you'd rather drop by in person.

And if you sign up before 27 October and add your rig, you get the Founding Member trophy. After that it's gone for good.

BYD Shark do do do do... now that we've given you an earworm, let us make up for it with some super cool stock update. We're now in the position (pun intended) to lift your electric mule a couple of inches with this quality lift kit.

Lift your BYD Shark 6 by a full two inches and take control of how it rides. This complete Top Rhino front and rear suspension kit replaces the factory struts, shocks and coils with foam cell damping and a 24 stage compression adjuster, so you can dial the ride in for an empty tray around town or a loaded tub on corrugations.

The Top Rhino front struts carry an adjustable spring seat giving up to 65mm of ride height adjustment, letting you set stance precisely and compensate for the weight of a bull bar or winch. An internal soft top-out stop and extra down travel keep the ride composed where the standard setup runs out of stroke.

Oh and while our web team is now able to take a breather after polishing our online shop the warehouse guys is in full swing to pack our shelves with new bullbars and roof racks. :)

Good morning everyone on this sunny (well at least here in our corner) Saturday.

To make a long story reall short: We've given the website a refresh.

The last couple of years have been busy: more products on the shelf, more ways to gear up a ute. Really good for you as a customer, but it meant our website started feeling a bit like a patchwork of everything we'd bolted on along the way.

So we spent some time pulling it all together properly.

Say you're after a canopy for your Hilux. You can now search for it, see straight away whether it actually fits your exact model, and know before you even open the page if you can grab it from our Brisbane warehouse yourself. We were aiming to show all the specs in same place and make it easier to flick through customer builds in the showroom.

It's also just a nicer looking site now, easier on the eyes and easier to find your way around.

We've gone through it carefully, but with changes this big there'll be the odd small thing we haven't caught yet. If something looks off or isn't working the way it should, just give us a shout and we'll get onto it quickly.

Hope you enjoy the new look. Thank you all for sticking with us while we've been growing.

Only one left in stock and it won't last long.

The Original TRADECAP Aluminium Canopy is built for Ford Ranger PX1, PX2, PX3 and Mazda BT-50 dual cab utes from 2011 to 2021. Lightweight aluminium construction, powder coated finish, and front and rear windows fitted as standard. At $2,500, it is one of the sharpest priced alloy canopies going around for these platforms.

Whether you are kitting out a work ute or building a touring setup, this is the canopy that does the job without overcomplicating it.

One unit. Once it is gone, it is gone.

Only 2 of these left in stock - and if you're running a Dodge Ram 1500/2500 LWB with a 6.7ft tub, this is worth your attention.

The Gen 2 TRADECAP Steel Canopy is built heavy duty, finished in matte black, and designed to fit the 2011–2026 Ram properly, not as an afterthought. Whether you're a tradie needing secure storage or an overlander wanting a solid base to build on, steel construction means it's not going anywhere.

At $2,995.00, it's serious gear for a serious ute.

Two units. That's it. Once they're gone, they're gone.

Steel vs Aluminium Canopies: Which is Right for You?

Steel or alloy, it's one of the most common questions we get about ute canopies, and the answer isn't the same for everyone.

Here's the short version:

Steel canopies are tougher under serious abuse, generally cheaper upfront, and easier to repair in the field. If you're a tradie throwing tools around daily or working in rough conditions, steel makes a lot of sense.

Aluminium canopies are significantly lighter (which matters if you're already close to your payload limit), naturally corrosion-resistant, and better suited to touring and camping builds where weight is a real consideration.

But what's the trade-off? Alloy costs more and a solid hit can be harder to fix than a dent in steel.

There's no universal winner here, it just comes down to how you use your ute, what you're hauling, and where you're headed.

We've broken down the full comparison on the blog, weight differences, cost ranges, real-world use cases, and what to think about before you buy.
