WHY FULL CARBON?
Carbon isn't important because it's exotic.
It's important because it changes what can be achieved.
High-strength, high-stiffness carbon construction allows Cure to build a structure that is exceptionally efficient in its use of weight.
And that matters because weight doesn't exist in isolation.
Every kilogram carried through the boat has consequences.
More weight means more mass to move.
More mass influences acceleration, loads and the amount of power required from the rig.
So Cure starts by asking a different question:
How little weight can we carry while still achieving the strength and stiffness the boat requires?
That's where carbon earns its place.

A large overlapping headsail can add power, but it also brings more sheet work, more loads and more complexity.
