They say a picture is worth a thousand words, and if you’re as car-obsessed as I am, this one certainly tells a story. A Zacaria F1 car, a Lamborghini Huracán Performante, a Lamborghini Diablo, and a Porsche 911 Dakar in hot pursuit. It’s an incredible sight.
But the most important message in this picture is something far bigger than cars.
On average, five Australians reach out to Lifeline every minute for support. It’s a sobering statistic, but one that also highlights the vital role Lifeline Australia plays in our community, providing 24-hour crisis support and su***de prevention services to those who need it most.
That’s why I’d love to see you on the NSW South Coast on Sunday, 8 November, for the 4th Berry Motorfair.
Since launching the event in 2020, we’ve raised more than $300,000 for Lifeline Australia. Those funds have helped support important initiatives including Text to Talk and the training of the dedicated volunteers who are available 24 hours a day to provide a listening ear when it’s needed most.
I’m incredibly proud of what this event has become. It’s a fantastic day out for the whole family, featuring some amazing cars, the iconic Berry Donut Van, face painting for the kids, w**e tasting for the adults, and all set against the stunning backdrop of Coolangatta Estate Winery.
