THANK YOU FROM LAUREN - FOUNDER OF THE CAPE YORK AUTOMOTIVE MUSTER..!!! 💥📣💥📣

I would like to give a massive shout out & thank you to everyone who came out & participated in this year’s Cape York Automotive Muster..!!😊😊

This year’s event was absolutely amazing & I am SO incredibly proud of how much it has grown over the past 5 years.😎👍🏾

Thank you to all of our awesome sponsors for making sure our participants get some fantastic prizes for their efforts & a very special thank you to the Cooktown Memorial RSL Club for their generous support & being this year’s platinum sponsor, I can’t thank you all enough & I could never do what I do without your support.🙏🏽🥰

Thank you to everyone that helped me pull this event together & who helped out in the marquee while I was busy with everything else.🩷🖤

Every year I dedicate this event to someone who is currently facing their own journey with this disease & this year I dedicate the Cape York Automotive Muster 2026 to a local gentleman who I won’t name in this post out of respect for him & his family, but he knows who he is & as I said to him when we talked on the phone, “this one’s for you mate”. 💯💪🏾😎

Thank you to everyone who came out to support CYAM’s fundraising efforts by purchasing our merchandise & a HUGE thank you to the Cooktown Police for joining in on the fun & making our event even more special.🙏🏽🤩

We did it, I set a goal to raise more than we raised last year which was $1,000.00 & this year we have raised $2,846.00..!!! 🎉🎉🎉🎉

We still have some merchandise left if you missed out…please feel free to drop me a message if you would like to purchase something. 🫶🏾😊

What a freaking awesome weekend..!!!
Thank you to my amazing team for keeping me grounded & going above & beyond to ensure that everything goes smoothly while I clocked up over 27,000 steps on Saturday alone just doing what I needed to do as the event organiser.
Thank you to Jason, Tash & Mitch from Tully for helping me to gather sponsorship from as many businesses as possible, you guys rock!!
Thank you to my fantastic group of student volunteers who were such a great help!!
Thank you to all of the competitors, you guys are amazing & I can’t thank you all enough for making this event so much more exciting, fun & unique every year.
A MASSIVE thank you to all of our sponsors for providing us with the most amazing prizes & an extra special shout out & thank you to the Cooktown Memorial RSL Club for their generous support allowing us to purchase merchandise for the event to help us raise funds for the Cancer Council of Australia.
Every year this event grows bigger & better & to say that I am proud is an understatement.
I might need at least a month to recover but then planning will start all over again.
Bring on 2027..!!! 💥💪🏾😎💥
