Weigh My Caravan We are a mobile vehicle weighing service, checking your weight to ensure you are safe on the roads. We weigh caravans, 4WDs, boats - anything up to 8T.

We also supply and install diesel heaters either at our premises in Yanchep, or we can come to you.

A very low towball weight (160) for a 3.2 tonne GTM and very little that can be added to get it higher. The van feels unstable at 90kph+. Anyone else had this issue and resolved it? Ball weight at tare was 106kg - very low

After Reading a Debate on another site i thought id share...Alot say it does not matter if your van is a little over loaded .(I drive safe ect ect).. Well things can and do happen that you have no Control over..When we had our Accident the first thing the Insurance did was Weigh the Van ...Im sure if we HAD of been over (which we knew wasnt anyway) They would not have paid up..If they can get out of paying somehow they will....Be Safe Everyone and see you around this Beautiful country some time..

Picked up this 2025 Jayco Silverline a couple of days ago in Horsham and the very first thing I did was fit a WiTi security system and wireless brake controller. These have been one of my favourite and most essential caravan mods. Since then towed it to Maffra down some very winding roads in the Vic hills amd it performed like a dream. Wirelessly braking is brilliant and with thr security system fitted we can confidently leave the van and know it is virtually unstealable.
