Are motorcyclists allowed to do this? 🧐

This is called lane filtering and it’s legal under certain conditions and it actually helps to reduce congestion for everyone on the road 🏍️

✅ It lowers the risk of a motorcyclist being rear-ended by an inattentive driver in slow or congested traffic.

✅ Riders need to keep moving to help manage engine temperature and balance, so they are avoiding coming to a complete stop in congested traffic.

✅ Riders “taking off” after the light turns green is due to the faster vehicle acceleration of the motorcycle and they do this to avoid being struck from behind by a larger vehicle.

Weather turned it on today just in time for our monthly cruise. We picked up a few new faces and headed off to Bowraville, Macksville and then finished off with an awesome feed at the legendary OVH. Always a great cruise so don't worry if you missed out on it feel free to join us next month.
