A few years ago, a breakdown in Coen changed our lives. What started as an unexpected stop became the beginning of Coen Mechanical, and now— The Little Bush Pantry.

We’re stoked to be featured in Cape York Weekly this week, sharing a bit of our story and the work we’re doing to support the Coen community—through mechanical services, local employment, creative enterprise, and now groceries and fuel right here on Regent Street.

Check out the article below and come say hi when you’re in town!

🚨Tyre Safety🚨

When inflating your tyres, always check for bulges on the sidewall. If you spot any, STOP immediately and deflate the tyre. A bulging sidewall will cause the tyre to pop and tear, leading to dangerous driving conditions.

Stay safe on the road! 🔧🚙

Shout out to the unsung heroes of the Cape - road grader crew Eldine Creek and Kalan!

When we drove south on Thursday, the PDR from Coen was full of washouts, holes and ruts - no way a truck could get through.

On our way home Sunday, it may as well have been a different road. Holes filled and a smooth enough grader track to follow.

We look forward to welcoming a well needed supply truck and visitors to Coen!
