About

Clunes Auto Centre was founded in 1946 by Cole Johnston, and has been a part of the local community since. In the late 80’s and into the early 90’s Garry Johnston (Cols Son) took over, and also expanded on the business by introducing the Quality Used Cars lot.

In 2918 Jigaroo Holdings (a certified Indigenous business), owned by a local family who also owns Echidna Coffee, and a small building, construction and maintenance company, Jigaroo took over part of the Centre after many talks with garry. Garry is well know to the family behind Jigaroo Holdings and has been for many a years with all the family coming to the station here to have there vehicles serviced, repaired, and to purchase vehicles also. As well as this been the local community service station where they had always purchased their fuel.

It is a grate please to be involved with our local community and been able to provide a service to everyone, we don't just sell fuel, we also have a rage of everyday groceries, local pies and hot food, fresh bread delivered daily from the bakery, NORCO Milk, cold drinks, and much more but if there is something that you need and we haven't got it in stock, we are always happy to order it in and get it to you. There is almost nothing that we can not source and get.

We also work very closely with Garry who still runs the mechanical workshop at the moment, to help him and his customers get the best service they deserve.
