We adapted the Storm ECU to the factory engine harness as well as adding a bunch of sensors and a custom sensor sub harness to suit.

CREZZY in from the team at .zero_

Long before this build ever landed at Garage Zero or made its way to us, someone else had already kicked off the conversion. Previously it had been attempted to use the factory 1JZ-GTE engine harness with a Link ECU JZX100 plug-and-play ECU.

Unfortunately, the wiring work that was left behind just wasn't up to scratch and wasn't going to function properly. Thankfully, we were still able touse the plug-and-play ECU and build a brand-new, bespoke engine harness to suit the setup perfectly.

We teamed up with SMW Tuning and recently, giving FLY 8Y a rather large upgrade.

Arriving to us first, we removed the Haltech plug and play RB ECU and IQ3 dash and replaced it with an Emtron World KV8 ECU, MoTeC PDM15, 10" dash and a new milspec style engine harness.

Once it left us MJS removed the gearbox and replaced it with a PPG sequential gearbox, fit the single throttle body intake plenum and carried out other TLC mechanical work.

After MJS was finished SMW Tuning fully tuned the new setup making power delivery and drivabality improvements across the board.

Just finished rewiring the engine loom on this 2JZ powered MX83 we did a while back to add drive by wire for the Haltech Nexus R3 ECU. Thankfully we planned ahead with the original harness designed which allowed us to make use of some extra length on the IACV wiring to simply rewire its plug to suit the DBW at both ends.

OEM+ build on this EF XR6 Falcon, swapping out the original 6 cylinder in favor of an FG Barra engine. Looking right at home like it came out of the factory!

Sometimes we don't get to see the final product once a build is completed so its awesome when our customers bring them in for us to see.

While Keith's Rangie still has some little 1% jobs that need finishing off (final gauge binacles and front and rear bars) its awesome to see it in the flesh like this.
