One we finished up late last year that recently got its final tune was this VF Commodore.

Being equipped with a spicy built motor and supercharger combo, the standard ECU, while perfectly capable in its tuning abilities, was lacking in the engine protection department. Cue the MoTeC M150 with 's custom VF firmware package and Haltech IC-7 to display the data. This ECU package not only allows better functionality than the OE ECU, but also protects the owners investment in the engine.

Normally GE Race Tune supply their package as a plug and play kit to replace the factory ECU but the customer wanted a bespoke harness from us to suit. This setup replaces the factory ECU still and seamlessly integrates with all of the oem electronic modules operating as it came out of the factory.

Nathan at SMW Tuning took care of the all the tuning after it left us and has the 1000HP setup driving better than factory!

JDM vehicles, aftermarket ECUs and diagnostics are one of our specialities and we know these cars like the back of our hands. If you get stuck with a fault, get in touch so we can help.

Another on site visit this week to diagnose no start/run. Unfortunately a faulty MAP sensor has left this SR20 180SX out of action. We confirmed all wiring was fine and will be sending out a replacement for the customer to save another call out.

While we were there we gave the wiring a bit of an inspection and found a number of undesirable wiring problems that, while allow the car to run and function, are not 'right' and we hope we can fix them for the customer in the near future.

If you didn't see our other post about it, we have gone back to our roots and are now offering mobile service for small jobs and diagnostics/repairs. Bringing out extensive knowledge and experience to the road 🛻⚡

Starting out relatively local and with small jobs for now but looking into the future and potentially offering call out services to measure up engine harness and come back to fit once completed.

Out on site for this customer taking advantage of our new mobile service to wire up this aftermarket headlights on his S15 fronted S14.

When an Iron Lion, VR and updated tech get together.

The guys from Phantom Auto Works sent us this Holden Commodore to sort out the electrical system for them.

The body has an Ecumaster PMU-16 to run ALL the electrics, not a single fuse or relay in sight. The engine is running off a Gen 3 LS ECU. And of course, a full body rewire with bespoke wiring to go with it all.

This EH is taking OEM+ to the next level. A spicy 6 cylinder with an DBW and ALL the sensors as well as the full suite of Haltech electronics (Nexus R3, PD16 and uC-10) to run everything. Underneath, the engineering and fabrication work is NEXT LEVEL.

We completed a full front to back rewire and setup of the electronics package with tuning to come in the future.

The attention to detail by owner Jeff and all involved up to this point is mind boggling. The paint work is yet to come but otherwise, no stone has been left unturned. Whats even more awesome is the story that comes with the car, being Jeff's parents car originally and staying in the family all this time.

We can't wait to see it fully completed in the near future and on the rollers!

Sponsored driver Lachlan Van Look #08's R32 has been getting a massive refresh in the off season. This included a full rewire by us and a plethora of Link ECU upgrades including two PDMs and a Blink Marine PKP-2400-Si keypad.

The R32 got our entry level 'club spec' wiring package utilising tefzel wiring and braided sleeving throughout. A front Razor PDM to run the ECU, engine and front lights, and another Razor PDM in the rear to run the rear mounted radiator fans, pumps and rear lights.

No sooner had we finished our work and fired it up than it headed off to SMW Tuning for some tweaks, followed straight by a shakedown at Drift the Downs where it ran flawlessly.

We can't wait to see Lachlan out in full competition mode at the end of the month!

Our good friend "Black" Dave BD BD from Tropical Coast Coolrooms and his R32 are headed out to Morgan Park Raceway for some time attack.

We support Dave and his R32 in the electronics, tuning and data analising departments and assist mechanically where possible. The car is running a Link ECU G4X plug and play to control the RB20 and a plethora of for data.
