Queensland Cancer Council – Redlands Branch
We would like to take this opportunity to thank all those who have assisted and participated in this event over recent years and invite you to participate again this year and welcome newcomers. Our revised entry form will assist us to classify vehicles for judging, and have all cars on the field mu
ch quicker, so please supply as much information as possible. To assist with the trophy acquisition, an early pre-entry would be appreciated. This year we will provide you with your Entry Form Details to be displayed in your vehicle when you arrive at the Redland Showgrounds. Please note that no pre-entrant trophy will be available to entrants after this date.
2. To be Judged, online entry must be submitted by 11.55pm Friday 24 November 2023
3. Car Entry Fee:
• Early Bird Entry Fee (end 31.10.23): $20, includes 2 adults and children in vehicle.
• After 31 October 2023 Fee: $30, includes 2 adults and children in vehicle.
• $5 each for extra adults in vehicle
4. Car entry on the day, Display Only: $30, includes 2 adults and children in vehicle.
• $5 each for extra adults in vehicle
5. Set-up time: 6.00am to 8.00am. Cars are to be on the field ready for judging by 8.00am.
6. No cars will be able to enter the field after 9.00am on the 26th of November.
7. To save time and enable the Committee to present the trophies at a reasonable time, please arrive as early as possible.
8. The AHD Committee reserves the right to accept or reject any entry.
9. All participants are to observe the directions given by Officials at the site.
10. Cars must be parked in the same class, or they may not be judged. Judges will not have time to search for vehicles parked in other places.
11. The Judges reserve the right to place a vehicle in the class it deems it to be in
12. The decision of judges will be final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
13. Vehicles must be unlocked with bonnet and boot open to receive maximum points for judging. Please advise organisers immediately if you do not give permission for a judge to open your vehicle for the purposes of judging.
14. Stock Class – the following items are allowed: carpets, change of radio, radial tyres, seat belts, indicators, and period accessories. Anything else will place the vehicle into Modified Class.
15. Competition class – non-registered vehicles such as drag / rally / sprint cars (incl roll cage, race wheels, high power mods).
16. Trophies are worked out on Early Bird Entry numbers and classes only to allow time for trophies to be ordered and produced. The Event Organiser reserves the right to issue extra trophies in an individual class.
17. Trophies will be issued in classes/classification as follows (excludes display only):
• 1-3 vehicles (paid entries) - 1st place only.
• 4+ vehicles (paid entries) - 1st & 2nd place only.
18. All vehicles MUST remain stationary on the field until the end of the Trophy Presentation unless special permission is granted by the Event Organiser.
19. No dogs allowed within the Event. (This is under the rules of Redland City Council – Redland Showground)
ADVERTISING RELEASE
By entering the event you, and any children in your care, consent to being filmed and /or photographed during the event. Footage or images may be reproduced by the Event Organiser without restriction including, but not limited to, marketing and promotional use in all media forms. REFUND POLICY
If this event is cancelled under a Government Directive (e.g., COVID), a full refund will be made available. If you need to cancel for personal reasons, a full refund will be available up to 7 days prior to the event. 50% refund will be available up to 4.00pm on the Friday before the event. Alternatively, you can request that your entry fee be converted to a donation to The Queensland Cancer Council – Redlands Branch.
