Every workshop has a foreman… ours just happens to have four legs. 🐶

Before any vehicle leaves Jwb Automotive, it gets the official approval from our toughest inspector. He takes his job very seriously—checking every BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Land Rover, Audi and Volkswagen that comes through the workshop (mainly in exchange for a few pats and treats).

Jokes aside, we take pride in making sure every repair and service is completed to the highest standard, because your family’s safety and your vehicle’s reliability matter to us.

This Mini Cooper S came in with an engine shake that didn’t feel right 👀

Turns out the lower engine brace bush had completely split, allowing way too much engine movement under load. We replaced the brace, tightened everything back up properly and now it’s driving how it should again. ✔️🛠️

It’s always the small things underneath that can make a car feel terrible to drive.

Another BMW sorted 👌

This one came in with a leaking sump gasket making a mess underneath the engine. We pulled the sump off, cleaned everything up properly, fitted a new gasket and sealed it back up the right way. 🛠️

Always satisfying seeing the difference between the before and after shots. No more oil leaks and no more oily driveway stains for this owner. ✔️

BMW 228i in today for a rocker cover replacement.

The original cover had failed, allowing oil to leak onto the exhaust—causing that noticeable burning oil smell. We removed the cover, cleaned the affected areas, and fitted a new unit to resolve the issue properly.

The result is a clean, dry engine bay and everything operating as it should.

If you’ve noticed an oil smell or signs of a leak, it’s worth getting it checked early to avoid further problems.
