MEET THE NEW OFFICE GIRL 👋🔧
There’s a new face behind the desk at Raddos! We thought it was time to introduce her properly… so we put her through the Raddos interrogation. 😂
What’s your name and what will you be doing here at Raddos? - I'm Laccee & I’ll be running the office, doing all the admin things, making sure your parts are here & your vehicle is booked in (in the diary & not through Kades booking system lol)
How Long have you been working at Raddos? I started at the end of August but have known Kade & April for a few years now through working at Maney Transport.
What made you want to join the Raddos team? I was fortunate enough to be asked by April & Kade when they found out I was moving out here, & lucky for me I made the right decision. I think feeling supported & valued goes a long way.
Have you worked in the automotive industry before? No, I haven't, although I have come from 7 years in the transport industry. (I'm still trying to get my head around learning parts)
What’s your favourite part of the job so far? The aircon in the office - ha-ha kidding. I'm really enjoying the challenge it brings me, learning something new keeps me stimulated. Also, getting to know the customers & locals.
What’s the one thing you’ve learnt since starting at Raddos? Smoko's at 10 & the diary will never show the true reflection of how busy we really are. Kade has a personal diary of his own which he likes to book without consulting the diary. 🤣
Petrol or diesel? It's never bothered me but considering I work in a Diesel only workshop, I'm grateful to have a diesel ha-ha
What’s your favourite job to do in the office? Making sure everything is organised, the to do list is complete & the customers are happy.
What’s the funniest thing that’s happened at work so far? It involved a mop, a gurney & a milk crate & having my bosses question if they hired the right person haha
What’s one thing you definitely won’t be doing in the workshop? Fixing a customer’s car – I’ll leave that up to Kade & Lachy haha
Coffee or energy drinks? ABSOLUTELY COFFEE
Be honest… did you know what you were getting yourself into when you started? 😂Yes, but I don’t think Kade knew haha (20 Questions a day, the organisation of having things in the diary, following things up constantly, & questioning orders that come in with ‘Stock’ 😂
If you could take one Raddos vehicle anywhere, where would you go? Nowhere, because they’re all manual & I can’t drive them (YET) haha
What’s one thing customers can expect from you when they call or visit Raddos? I’ll greet them with kindness, listen to their concerns regarding their vehicles & ensure they return for future mechanical work.
