Anyone done a smoke test before? Got told at engineering there is a boost leak. Which i doubt. Its more of a turbo whistle imo.
But to triple check, decided to smoke test. Noted the airbox seal leaking.
Curious if others have seen it. Its possible the air filter has aged and isn't providing the sealing force it once did.

Also thought this was an interesting one for future people. Failed smog twice. Which I now believe is a bad O2.
I randomly got this P code only after approx a 40min drive.
Code P0125 indicates "Insufficient Coolant Temperature for Closed Loop Fuel Control,"
Randomly decided to scope the O2 sensor. Dead flat. Before and after trying a spare sensor.

An FB reminder from 10years ago today...not much has changed, besides Adaptronic being swallowed into Haltech

Couldn't find the INV for the Adaptronic 440 shown in this collage, but I found the subsequent upgrade INV to the M2000 in 2017 then onto the M6000 in 2020 with a few additional modules :)

Hopefully my math is right and hardware decisions align. I see two possible upgrade pathways.
Haltech 1500 + WB module OR the S2.
Which might be the end goal just for tuner support.

Well, 1 can wasn't enough. The 1.67sqm coverage per can is not a lie. Will sand back a couple of drips and run another can over it. Time will tell if it's upto the task.
I previously tried raptor coating on the tow bar and ladder. The coating is lasting, however, the tow bar wasn't zinc'd and now I'm seeing rust surface through the coating. Either it was a coverage issue or the product is slightly porous.

Apparently the zinc could bubble during the powder coating, hence testing out other products. Steel It is also weldable.

Next hurdle, engine swag planning. Recently there was a member who did a 3uz swap. However, its still quite uncharted territory.
Traditionally most go the 380 swap.

Oil sample results show everything is normal.
As I try to narrow down what I assume is valve train noise at start up, occurring ever since losing oil pressure on track (hit 5psi at idle) from memory. Got the logs somewhere.
