NEW ARRIVAL: 1974 Porsche 911 Carrera 2.7 MFI
For many years, the Carrera 2.7 MFI remained a Porsche enthusiast’s best-kept secret.
Even in period, Jurgen Barth stated they were only/mostly sold to factory racing drivers and Porsche executives.
It wasn’t just the successor to the Carrera RS. It was the evolution of its Gold Standard.
The same 210hp mechanical fuel-injected engine.
The same lightweight character.
The same blistering immediacy.
The fastest production 911 money could buy up until the late 1980’s.
They’re also painfully rare. Strictly limited production means that chassis 769 offered here is one of just 117 right-hand-drive Carrera 2.7 MFI Coupés ever built.
Presented in its original colorway, and what many regard as the model’s ultimate specification: Gemini Blue Metallic over Midnight Blue with Shetland inlays this benchmark car retains its numbers matching drivetrain, original book pack and has been expertly refurbished by David Belford with unwavering respect for originality.
Once owned by America’s cup Skipper and Porsche enthusiast, Iain Murray AM, chassis 769 also has exceptional provenance.
A world class Porsche that rarely becomes available.
