🧡 WELL… YOU GUYS REALLY LIKE PHIL THE CARAVAN INSPECTOR! 😂🔎

We recently launched Phil – The Caravan Inspector to give Phil a place to share his 30 years of caravan knowledge, inspection finds, tips and advice…

And the response has absolutely blown us away! 🤯

Phil wanted to jump on quickly and say a massive THANK YOU to everyone who has followed, shared, commented and sent questions through and especially everyone who’s jumped over from our Caravan Care tribe!

We’re working our way through all your messages and comments, so if Phil hasn’t answered yours yet — we haven’t forgotten you!

If you haven’t already, jump over and FOLLOW Phil – The Caravan Inspector. There’s plenty more coming! 🚐🔎

And don’t worry… Phil hasn’t left us 😂 Phil – The Caravan Inspector is still the proudly owner and director of Caravan Care.

DON’T GUESS IT. GET IT INSPECTED.™

🚐🔎 MEET PHIL – THE CARAVAN INSPECTOR!

You already know Phil from Caravan Care… but now he’s getting his own page! 🙌💁‍♂️

We’ve launched Phil - The Caravan Inspector, a page dedicated entirely to helping caravan owners and buyers become smarter, safer and more confident about their vans

After years of servicing, repairing and inspecting caravans, Phil has seen a LOT 👀 — and now he’s taking you along with him

Follow Phil for real inspection finds, pre-purchase advice, common caravan problems, things to look out for before buying, Phil’s Top Tips and plenty of behind-the-scenes moments from inspections.

And yes… Calvin will still be supervising Quality Control. 🐾😂

Phil – The Caravan Inspector is part of Caravan Care, so while Phil’s new page will focus specifically on inspections and education, Caravan Care isn’t going anywhere! We’ll still be here for your servicing, repairs, insurance work and all things caravan

👉 We’d love all of our Caravan Care family to jump over and FOLLOW Phil – The Caravan Inspector!

Even better — share his new page with anyone who’s thinking about buying a caravan. You might just save them from buying someone else’s problems! 😬

🔎 Don’t guess - get it inspected

🔧 JUST ANOTHER DAY IN THE WORKSHOP… 🐾

When you’re working on the wiring behind a caravan fridge, you need a second set of eyes… and apparently Calvin has taken that job very seriously! 😂

Phil getting stuck into some electrical work and making sure everything behind the fridge is wired up properly. Because when it comes to caravans, it’s often the things you can’t see that need the most attention

👨‍🔧 Phil: doing the work
🐶 Calvin: quality control
😂 Teamwork: 10/10

At Caravan Care, we don’t just look at what’s on the surface — we get into the details to make sure your caravan is safe, reliable and ready for the road

Friday Caravan Care Tip 🔧

Had your caravan wheels off recently?

Here’s a little reminder from Phil: after removing and refitting your wheels, check the wheel nut tension again after approximately 50–100 km of driving👇

It’s a simple step that can make a big difference to your safety on the road.

Always follow your caravan and wheel manufacturer’s recommended wheel-nut torque specifications.

A few minutes checking now could save you a whole lot of trouble later! 🚐💨

Learning the Trade - Calvin’s taking his training pretty seriously today! 🐾🔧

He’s been hanging out with Zac and learning a thing or two about servicing caravans… although we’re not quite sure how much he’s actually been paying attention 😂

Learning from the best, one caravan at a time!

Disclaimer: No pets were harmed in the making of this photo. Calvin was very well supervised and received plenty of pats and treats for his hard work ❤️

🌧️ All this rain could be hiding a costly surprise...

This caravan came into our workshop with water damage—something many owners don’t discover until it’s already caused significant damage.

Water leaks can start small, but if left untreated they can lead to:
💧 Rot
💧 Mould
💧 Delamination
💧 Expensive structural repairs

The good news? Regular inspections and resealing can help catch problems before they become major repairs.

If it’s been a while since your caravan was checked over, now is the perfect time.

🐶 Before any caravan leaves our workshop, there’s one final inspection...

Meet Calvin, Caravan Care’s Head of Quality Control! 🐾

Today’s job? Giving these three caravans one last approval before they head back to their owners and off on their next adventure

While Phil and Zac take care of the servicing and repairs, Calvin makes sure everyone leaves with a smile (and usually hopes for a few pats along the way)

Safe travels to all our customers heading off on their next trip! 🚐
