****Update.. Home found 😊 ****

I received a very sad call from some desperate people.
Their family member has passed away at a young age and they have been left their dog to try and care for.
They cannot keep her long term for various reasons. I am just trying to assist with the Eventide Sanctuary network as they are running out of options and the dog is facing euthanasia if a suitable home cannot be found.

I have been told all other sanctuaries they have tried have said they cannot assist and Dogs home have said they cannot assist due to the dog attacking a cat which makes it very hard to rehome.

I am just assisting the owners and dog by sharing details, if interested please contact them directly on 0418 364 644 and say you saw the post on Eventide.

Description from owners below;

This is Taekeah, she is approximately 3 years old.
She is wonderful with people and is good with basic commands.
She gravitates towards people who are down or sad and tries to ease their pain. She is like a puppy and gets very excited to see you and loves nothing more than a cuddle.
She is however no good around cats and small dogs.
She would make a perfect companion as she will stick to you like glue. Has been ok with children but may knock younger ones over. She is a staffy x Johnson bulldog.
She has sadly attacked and killed a cat.

Meet Roxy 🐑

Little Roxy was born late in the year and months after the rest of her gang so mum and Roxy now call Eventide Sanctuary home.

She has a true underdog spirit!

I will be rehoming some sheep once I get through upcoming shearing and vaccinations so please express your interest if interested in some friendly sheep.

Have a series of school excursions coming out to Eventide Sanctuary over the next few weeks so the school team had to come out and fill a few risk assessments out.

Made a mistake by leaving the clipboard unattended while I introduced the team to some animals.

Came back and Max had eaten all the risk assessments!!! 😋 🐑 🤦‍♂️

Not sure if that’s a pass or fail!! 🤷‍♂️

Lots of smiles on some recent sanctuary tours!

The Eventide Sanctuary tours are carried out 7 days a week at 9am.
They are a private tour for up to 5 people in a group.
Perfect way to meet and greet all the animals of Eventide and help with the breakfast feeds.

This is the way I fund the work of the sanctuary.

Tours can be booked here;

Meet Willow and Lily, these two friendly rats are looking for their forever home after being surrendered here at Eventide Sanctuary.

They are absolutely lovely and just want to crawl up your arm and hang out on your shoulder and neck all day!

Can you give them a forever home and give them the attention they deserve?

Adoption fee will apply to help cover costs.
