Time to step it up with Rob’s M2 Comp! We’ve made a few improvements to this F87 but this round of mods will really get things going. Headlining the package is the wheel and tyre combo featuring enormous Koya wheels measuring 9.5” and 11” wide F&R, then shod with Yokohama Advan A052. We also added some kinematics parts from Millway so we can get things all setup and really dial in our preferred alignment specs. Big thanks to our partners and Rob for trusting us yet again to take his combination in the right direction.

Hmmm, time for a new fuel filter perhaps? This 2021 Volkswagen Touareg has come to us for servicing and unfortunately it’s just a repeat of the same old trends in dealer land - either unrealistic service intervals or ridiculous over quoting often mean vehicles aren’t kept in their rightful condition leaving the owner with a feeling “something isn’t quite right”. We had something a little different than our norm this week.

Our customer has decided to take his Tickford Tweaked S550 Mustang to the track a little more regularly so it was time for a couple of appropriate mods. First was a brake upgrade using Endless pads and some fresh DBA disc rotors to slow the pony down, then we completed an MP Alignment so the customer had a little more predictable feel and greater control.

Rounding out our Benz week was this little GLA250. At 10 years old and 100,000kms it was due for a couple of key repairs including water pump, thermostat housing and oil filter housing. We also performed a DCT service and regular oil change. This GLA is ready for another 10 years and 200,000kms of service!

Two for a Tune? M240 actually.

The B58 engine has been around for a few years now but they still manage to amaze us with how good they are, particularly in the G-series models.

A relatively simple combination of hard pipe kit, upgraded dump pipe and an unlocked DME rewards our customer with enormous gains from 2000rpm all the way through to 6000+. What’s important to note is the gain from 2500-5000, right where you spend your time in a street car.

An E34 with a twist you say? Yes indeed!
This E34 started life as a regular but tidy 520 automatic, the owner loved the shape and style of the car but wanted more. That’s where an S62 V8 and 6spd manual transmission was swapped in, the rear suspension from a 540 was also grafted in and then topped off with a nice Bilstein shock & Eibach spring package. To calm the added ponies there has also been a Brembo brake upgrade to the front and rear.
