As the closure of the Gaspower Automotive Services Pty Ltd company entity is completed this month, the telephone redirection from the landline phone number of (02)49566941 to my personal number has ceased.
The redirection has been active since 2021, when the Gaspower company premises were sold.
I will still be available for diagnosis, information and minor repairs by calling 0412282054 (my personal mobile number).
Please note the following criteria:
-No calls out of “business hours”.
-I’m not a free “Diagnostic Service”.
-I’m not a free “Tradies Register”.
-No I don’t Retest Autogas tanks.
-No I don’t do “Gas Car Rego’s”.
My heart goes out to the mechanics that DO Registration inspections.
Many years ago I attained my “Rego Ticket) for an extremely short period.
Most customers would then argue over standard defective items such as:
“The tyre has tread on THAT side”,
“The windscreen isn’t ALL cracked”,
“The muffler leak isn’t THAT bad”.
“I’m going to report you!”
My answer was standard.
“I dont sell Tyres, Windscreens or even Mufflers. I’m bot chadibg any work. The rules are not mine. I don’t NEED to do registration inspections, I’m doing this as an assistance for customers. Here, drop my Rego licence into the RMS while you’re in there moaning about me!”
They’d look dumbfounded when called them out. I personally returned my Inspection license within a year and said “Here, have this back before I end up in the Klink for choking someone.”
