Calling all aspiring Apprentices. If you know of anyone considering a trade future point them in the direction of the Australia Industry Trade College. This workshop has sourced our last few apprentices from the AITC and they are a reliable source of talent.

The AITC is a deliberately different senior school for students in Year 10 – 12.
They are currently enrolling students to enrol now for their second biggest intake – July 2023.

Apprenticeship secured ✅
Tom joined the AITC as a Year 10 young person in 2022. Over the next 12 months Tom participated in work experience in a variety of industries such as plumbing, flooring removal and installation. It wasn't until after Tom participated in TAFE’s trade taster where his exposure to the light vehicle mechanical trade opened his eyes to a trade he had never considered. A few weeks later, Chris from Ultra Tune Capalaba was looking for a possible school-based apprentice and Tom participated in his first work experience block in the mechanical trade with Ultra Tune. During his work experience block Tom knew this was the trade he wanted to pursue. Chris knew Tom had great potential and offered him a school-based apprenticeship. Chris and the Team at Ultra Tune Capalaba have been a supportive employer of the AITC and offering great opportunities to our young people. We wish Tom all the best with his apprenticeship and look forward to seeing him graduate with his Year 12 QCE in 2024.
