“Good work ain’t cheap… and cheap work ain’t good.”

We see it every week: quick fixes, cut corners, and parts that don’t last. It might look cheaper today, but it usually costs more later.

At Car Mechanical Services, we’re proud of:
✅ Quality workmanship
✅ Ethical recommendations (no upsell games)
✅ Doing the job properly the first time
✅ A real commitment to sustainability through smart repairs and responsible practices

If you want a workshop that treats your car like it matters, you’re in the right place.

Proud to share we’ve been recognised with a Quality Business Award Australia and for us, it comes down to one thing: customer service, honesty, quality, and knowledge are not negotiable.

This award is a big deal. Businesses that win a Quality Business Award represent less than 1% of registered businesses in Australia, and it reflects an overall quality score of 95% or greater.
That’s the kind of benchmark we hold ourselves to every day because when it comes to your car, “good enough” isn’t good enough.

To our customers: thank you for trusting us with your vehicle and your safety.

We’ll keep showing up with straight answers, skilled workmanship, and service that actually puts people first. If you’re looking for a mechanical team that takes pride in doing it properly the first time, we’re here.

True story

Massive shoutout to Liam for completing his work experience with us this week. He showed up with a great attitude, asked smart questions, and put real effort into learning what it takes behind the scenes in a busy workshop.

A special mention to Dave as well — he stepped up as Liam’s mentor and did what great leaders do: made time, explained the “why” (not just the “how”), and helped Liam build confidence on the tools and the process. That kind of guidance is what creates the next generation of quality tradespeople.

This is exactly why we created My Career Portfolio, our career development program designed to help students (Years 8–12) build real-world skills, confidence, and direction, with a strong focus on inclusion and supporting neurodivergent and different abilities students

Over 1,700 people are sleeping rough every single night.
That’s 1,700 lives trying to get through winter without a safe place to rest, without stability, and without the support that makes it possible to break the cycle.

That’s why organisations like Vinnies matter so much — and why your generosity matters. Thanks to your contributions so far, we’ve already helped fund real support: warm meals, a safer night, and practical help that gives people a chance to rebuild. Thank you so, so much for backing this.

We’ve still got 48 hours to keep the momentum going. If we can raise $100 every hour we can add even more impact extra meals, extra nights of safety, and extra support for people doing it tough. And it’s perfect timing: every donation is tax deductible

If you’ve been thinking about donating, now’s the moment. Share it with one person who might chip in too every bit helps.
