We have some good news and some bad news for you all. The good news is Maddie is now on maternity leave to have her second bub (yay!!). The bad news is she won’t be returning to SAS 🙁

• JOB OPPORTUNITY •

Southern Automotive Services is looking for the right person to join their team. Candidates ideally will be a qualified trades person or equivalent. Truck license/heavy vehicle license is a bonus. The position is ideal for someone who wants to work casual/part time hours, approximately 20hrs a week. However, these hours can be flexible for the right person. Daily jobs include standard servicing and repairs on vehicles as well as tyre fitting and the potential opportunity to operate a tow truck. We like to maintain a safe, inclusive, fun and friendly work environment whilst also setting team and personal targets each week.

Tasks + Responsibilities:

- Log book and basic servicing

- Vehicle repairs, including suspension, brakes and steering.

- Tyre replacement and repairs

- Occasional tow truck driving (If applicable)

Benefits:

- Flexible part time or casual working hours

- No public holiday or weekend work

Huge congratulations are in order!!!!

Our mechanic Joe and his wonderful partner Tara welcomed a beautiful little boy Arthur on Sunday.

We wish Tara and Joe all the best for this crazy adventure and hope they are enjoying their new born bubble and soaking up well deserved cuddles ❤️🥰

• 20 Years • ( Well 20 years and 6 months oops)

• Can you believe that it’s been 20 years since we opened our doors ! For 20 years Southern Automotive Services has provided friendly top tier services and repairs on your vehicles. There have been many fond memories along the way and many of uniform changes (as noted in the OG photos). I think the current crew can confirm that they will not be going back to the overalls.

As you all know Mick Patton has been an outstanding person within the community, whether it be within the business of cars or around the local footy or baseball field. We would like to recognise all of his hard work over the last 20 years and all of those who helped get Southern Automotive to where it is today! A big shout out to Stuart for being the OG SAS crew with Mick and of course wonderful Louise (purely just for putting up with Mick 🫣🤣).
