Life rarely goes as you planned…
The commodore you see here I owned when i started working my first job “professionally” in the car audio game.
Pictured here in 2009 it had evolved through a number of different stages, stereo fitouts and designs.
It’s statesman dash, VX SS seats, air bag suspension all round and 19 inch rims made young me feel like a total king 🤴
Shortly after these pictures were taken, the car was crowned grand champion for a series of local shows it competed in across that year.
The next step was to give it the paint job it deserved and take it all the way up to the street / elite level and onto the national show circuit.
The stage was set, the magazines were lined up and my dreams of becoming known for my work was so on to be realised.
Or so I thought...
The car was stripped, taken to a panel shop who, 2 years later ultimately went bust and the car disappeared.
Never to be seen by me again.
Years of work, 10’s of thousands of dollars GONE and at 23 years old this is where the story so easily could have ended.
Instead I pushed on, put my head down and learned everything I could to be better, I was determined not to let this stop me.
13 years later the real world manifestation of that work you see today via and my most proud project .
If your not tuned in, “22” was a great year “23” will be the biggest yet!
