Grand Tourer Build Update

As many of you know, Grand Tourer, alongside JMC Performance has been proud to assist with the build and preparation of the Ford Es**rt RS2000 that will be auctioned through Grays.com as part of the 30th Historic Leyburn Sprints celebrations.

A project like this only comes together when the right people put their hands up — and we want to give a huge shout-out to Scotty from Excel panel & paint for the amazing work he has done on the paint and panel work, especially in this super tight time frame.

The Es**rt has a special connection to Leyburn history, having been raced by late Sprints co-founder Mike Collins, and it was important that the car presented the right way for such a milestone event. Scotty’s attention to detail, finish and care in bringing the bodywork and paint back to life has made a massive difference.

The result is a classic Ford that looks every bit as sharp as it should — ready to be displayed, admired and ultimately auctioned to support the Historic Leyburn Sprints and its Community Benefit Fund.

From all of us at Grand Tourer, thank you Scotty and the team at Excel Panel and Paint. Outstanding work on a very special car. Looking forward to seeing a Lea McCarroll interior makeover finished off next.. This is a fun little build.
