Moving your caravan safely matters just as much as working on it properly.

We use a powered caravan mover to carefully position vans around our workshop with greater control and precision.

For our customers, that means less risk of accidental damage, safer manoeuvring in tight spaces, and no unnecessary stress being placed on your caravan while it’s in our care.

It’s a small part of our process, but another way we make sure your van is looked after from the moment it arrives. 🔧🚐

This is no secret but its definitely something you're not told when buying a caravan.

Working on thousands of caravans, we now urge people to get their caravans inspected every 6 months but minimum 12 months. Since the establishment of RV leaks, we have come across vans that had water damage inside walls and panels without the owner knowing for years. Mold, rot, smell, all building while you and your family are inside.

Dont let your pride and joy rot away, get it checked and get it checked properly.

The repair cost is always bigger than an inspection on a caravan. The longer you leave water damage the more damage occurs. In other words, BIGGER REPAIR BILL. Better to be safe than sorry later.

If youre unsure if you have a leak, give us a call.

The winter months are coming to an end. Travellers are booking in for their vans to get checked before they embark on their journey.

When was the last time you had your caravan checked and inspected for leaks?

Dont get stung with a big repair bill before your next trip, call us. We will make your van leak free.

We see this type of thing on all caravans. It these little holes that allow water to get in while youre on the road. Slowly and quietly racking up the repair bill without you even knowing.

Dont make the mistake of checking your van last minute. Book an inspection now, and be stress free later.

Are your solar panel bracket scews properly installed?

Every bracket that’s fixed into the roof creates another pe*******on that needs to be sealed correctly.

Over time, movement, vibration, heat and weather can cause the sealant around those mounting points to crack, lift or separate. Once that happens, water can start making its way into the roof structure.

During a leak test, we check around solar brackets carefully because even a tiny failure can lead to hidden water damage, rot and expensive repairs.

Why do we pressurise the caravan?

Pressurising the inside of the van forces air out through any weak points, gaps or failed seals.

Once we spray the exterior with our soapy water, escaping air creates bubbles, showing us exactly where water could potentially enter.

It’s a simple process, but it allows us to find leaks that can be almost impossible to spot with a normal visual inspection.

This is exactly why leak testing matters.

What looks fine from the outside can still be letting water straight into your caravan. During our pressure test, the bubbles quickly reveal where air is escaping, showing us the exact areas where water can potentially get in.

Finding these weak points early can help prevent rot, mould, delamination and expensive structural repairs later on.

Don’t wait until you can see the damage.

📲 Book your caravan leak detection test with RV Leaks and know exactly what’s happening behind the seals.

What really goes on behind the scenes when it comes to finding water leaks in caravans?

In this exclusive interview, US based Tom McAuliffe, owner of Out & About TV – Travel, Adventure & RVs, sits down with Carlo Maranzano, founder of RV Leaks, to talk about the caravan industry, water ingress, pressure leak testing and the technology helping caravan owners and manufacturers identify problems before they become major—and expensive—repairs.

Carlo shares his journey into the caravan industry, how RV Leaks came about, and why detecting leaks before they turn into serious water damage is so important.

Whether you're a seasoned caravanner, considering buying a caravan, or simply interested in how caravans are built and tested, this is a conversation worth watching.

This is what happens when a caravan leak is left too long. 💧

Moisture gets trapped where you can’t see it, leading to mould, rot, damaged timber and expensive repairs.

A small leak today can become a much bigger problem tomorrow. At RV Leaks, we don’t just look for the obvious signs. We pressure test the van, locate vulnerable areas and help stop water damage before it spreads.

If you suspect a leak, don’t wait until it looks like this.
