Current owner Mick West has been a Driving Instructor for more than 11 years and is highly regarded in the industry. Mick specialises in teaching safe, defensive driving and has helped more than 1300 excited students obtain their licence.

And that’s a wrap from me. After over 24 years as a driving instructor and nearly 3000 passes, it’s time to pull the handbrake up for the last time.

Thanks to everyone who’s helped me along the way. My students and their parents, the helpful counter staff at Queensland Transport, the many different driving examiners I’ve established great working relationships with, and especially my wife who’s supported me along the entire journey.

It’s been a blast, but now it’s time to hang up the boots, put the feet up and move on to the next chapter.

So again, thanks everyone, and as always, drive safely.
