Our Local Legend for September is....

As you are likely aware (and bored of hearing about) businesses can no longer pass on the fees we get slogged with for providing card payment services.

To help us out, the RBA put a limit on the interchange fee; it was around 10c per transaction last month and it is now around 8c - thanks RBA!

Processing fees though, are not affected by the new rules. On your daily cup of coffee this is about 9c but for fixing your car’s clunking noise it can get hefty.

We've spent some time thinking about this but in the run up to Christmas we are not keen to add to anyone’s hip pocket pain and we won’t be making any changes to our pricing schedule.

So please if you are able, consider using PayID, cash, or direct bank transfer to pay your invoice so that we don't have to give $10-50 of your payment directly to the tech bros and the big four. Support local, keep your money local, stay legendary. 💙🧡

Come see us at Murty's Auto & EV! We're so excited to be the Sunshine Coast's newest dedicated EV mechanical workshop.
Yes! EV's need lovin' too! If it's a moving part, it needs maintenance. Full battery EV's might not have internal combustion engines, but they have brakes, cooling systems, air filters, tyres, and suspension that all need to have the occasional professional eyeball cast over them. And like all vehicles, the computer systems can get gremlins 😈

We can help with it all. Don't wait for that check engine light or that unsettling clunking noise; give us a call today.
