About the Role
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Motor Mechanic to join our busy workshop. The ideal candidate will have strong diagnostic skills, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering great results.
Key Responsibilities
โข Perform routine servicing, repairs and maintenance on a variety of vehicle makes and models
โข Diagnose mechanical faults using modern diagnostic equipment
โข Conduct safety inspections and ensure all work meets industry standards
โข Communicate effectively with team members and customers
โข Maintain a clean and safe working environment
About You
New Zealand Certificate in Light Automotive Engineering (Level 4) (Apprentices will be considered depending on experience.) OR
Light vs. Heavy Automotive Engineering
Previous workshop experience preferred
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently or in a team
Current driverโs license
