We have recently had a few 2017 M8 engines that the oil light has come on intermittently and then all of a sudden oil pressure drops to nothing! Luckily we caught these just in time and after installing S&S oil pumps the problem dissapears. This seems to be a common issue on some models of M8s so we would suggest keeping a close eye on that oil pressure and when possible upgrade to a high quality oil pump like S&S or Feuling.
