I had a ball hanging out with the team at SP Tools on staurday at Sandstone Point Hotel and competing against other patrons in the tyre changing competition with all funds going towards Get Yourself Checked , i didnt end up winning the competition but watch this space there is a big announcement coming!

This is the result of a leaking cvt transmission cooler which is relatively common on these mitsubishi eclipse cross, when they leak they push transmission fluid into the cooling system.
As you can see by the cooler inside the bucket of water, once I have applied some pressure to it the bubbles will come out of the cooling system side of the cooler.

This ldv had a coolant leak, I wonder if youre able to tell me the cause?..... yes the customer did just get it back from the dealer

A new set of shocks should have this customer driving in comfort again, the old ones weren't working too well at all

The toyota hilux has one of the most reliable engines on the market, the mighty 2.7 petrol engine! But this engine has 1 common fault, the plastic coolant bypass hose under the intake manifold, this customer decided to replace this with the updated metal pipe to help ensure he has the best chance possible at not having unexpected cooling system issues when he travels all over the country.

In this industry you become familiar with certain brands used for different applications, but then sometimes I you see something and wonder "where the bloody hell did they buy this from" this is 1 of thise times, ive only ever seen this filter twice before over the last couple of years and had the same reaction.

So I did some digging to find out some more info and it turns out apparently these filters are being sold out the back of some guys car to workshops around bBrisbane and he imports them directly from China.

Now im not sure of the quality of these and im not saying theyre good or bad but my concern would be if something went wrong then old mate would be nowhere to be found, this is the main reason I primarily use Ryco filters on your vehicles because I know they'll back their products in the event of a failure.
