Busselton Motorcycles is looking for a switched-on junior to join our team and learn the ropes across sales, parts, stock management, deliveries and customer service.
This isn’t just a job for someone who loves motorbikes. It’s an opportunity to learn how a real business operates, develop skills you can use for the rest of your working life and build a career with plenty of room to grow.
And yes, you might even learn what all those mysterious parts in the workshop actually do!
🔧 WHAT YOU’LL LEARN
* Sales & customer service: Helping customers, understanding their needs and building relationships that keep them coming back.
* Parts & accessories: Learning to identify parts, use electronic parts catalogues, source products and help customers find what they need.
* Stock management: Receiving stock, checking deliveries, booking goods in and out, keeping inventory accurate and learning how a business manages its stock.
* Motorcycle deliveries & pickups: Helping organise and carry out bike deliveries and collections, representing the business professionally.
* Showroom & retail: Keeping the shop looking sharp, presenting products and learning how to turn enquiries into sales.
* Business skills: Communication, organisation, teamwork, problem-solving and dealing with customers and suppliers professionally.
🎓 A CAREER, NOT JUST A JOB
With the right commitment, there may be opportunities to work towards relevant qualifications, including a Certificate III in Automotive Sales or a parts interpreting pathway, subject to course eligibility and training arrangements.
The skills you develop can open doors into parts interpreting, retail management, sales, inventory control, purchasing and other business opportunities.
🏁 WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR
* Someone who has recently left school or is looking for their first career opportunity.
* A current car driver’s licence is essential.
* Reliable, punctual and willing to get stuck into the job.
* Friendly and confident enough to talk to customers and build relationships.
* Organised, practical and keen to learn.
* Comfortable using computers and happy to learn new systems.
* Motorcycle knowledge is a bonus, but attitude matters more than experience.
😂 A QUICK REALITY CHECK
You don’t need to know every part number, be a sales superstar or know the difference between every bike on the showroom floor.
We can teach you that.
What we can’t teach as easily is turning up on time, using your initiative, treating customers properly and putting in a decent day’s work.
If you reckon you can manage those things, you’re already off to a good start!
