❗️MERCEDES ENGINE LIGHT❗️

🚗C200 MERCEDES BENZ🚗

This C200 came in for a check engine light and had multiple fault codes relating to a thermostat issue. We confirmed that the thermostat was stuck open and not letting the engine warm up to operating temperature. Upon removal the housing was also leaking and the plastic had degraded and fell apart in our hands. Luckily this was caught early before any major damage had occured.

💧AUDI COOLANT REPAIRS💧

🚗AUDI Q7 3.0 V6 TDI 🚗

This customer came to us for a service and while performing our thorough inspection we found the cooling system not holding pressure and a leak in the valley of the engine. Using our inspection camera we confirmed multiple leaks that needed rectifying. The customer was quoted up and agreed to go ahead with the work. After stripping we noticed the intake manifold, intake plenum, throttle body and intake swirl flap valve to be badly carboned up, we cleaned these at no extra charge. All this was completed within 24hrs, and ready for a trouble free summer.

Pajero oil cooler failure.

This customer wanted a second opinion after another workshop diagnosed a faulty head gasket. They came to us and we confirmed oil in the coolant which is an indiactor of a failed headgasket, however there was no other symptoms of headgasket failure. After further testing we confirmed the oil cooler had failed and had also affected the thermostat seals and raditor hoses. Customer was quoted up and went ahead with the repair. In no time the car's back up and running with no oil in the coolant!

Safe to say the customer was happy and on their way again.

Porsche AdBlue diagnosis and intake clean.
After many visits to Porsche, this clean late model Cayenne came in for a DPF diagnostic due to the engine light being on.
Our technicians found the AdBlue monitoring system had a fault caused by the reductant tank temp sensor short circuiting and a clogged EGR intake plenum. These issues were rectified and an off vehicle DPF clean performed.
Vehicle's back on the road and the customer's happy😁

DPF diagnostics

Audi A4 Allroad with an intermittent flashing coil light, our diagnostics found the DPF to be full of ash.

Removed, cleaned and refitted, vehicle's back on the road and the client's happy.
