Brand-new Mazda BT-50… straight from the dealership with swirls all over it 😬
From a distance it looks fine, but up close the paint is covered in marring and swirl marks. This often happens when a dealer gives a new car a quick buff with a rotary machine, only one or two passes to hide deeper marks, and then leaves it in that state. Sometimes a ceramic coating goes straight over the top, sealing the swirls in.
Before you collect your new car, ask to inspect it outside in direct sunlight, not in the late afternoon or under showroom lights. That’s when these defects show up.
We corrected the paint on this BT-50. Check the before and after at the end 👀
