🚗 5 things people are surprised CAN fail a Safety Certificate 👀
It’s not always the big obvious things like tyres and brakes!
Here are a few that can catch people by surprise:
1️⃣ Wiper blades
Split, perished or ineffective wiper blades can mean a fail.
2️⃣ Windscreen washers
Where required, washers that don’t work or aren’t spraying correctly can result in a fail.
3️⃣ Seatbelts
Frayed, damaged or a seatbelt that doesn’t retract or operate properly can fail.
4️⃣ Your horn
Yep! If your horn isn’t working or isn’t clearly audible, it can result in a fail.
5️⃣ Seats & seat adjustments
A seat that isn’t secure, or an adjustment that doesn’t properly lock and hold its position, can also fail.
