Well it's the end of an era. After a few years on the market we have sold Burketown Caravan Park. Jake and I would like to thank everyone that has supported us and stayed with us over the 16 years we have been here. We hope that you will continue to support the new owners and enjoy your visits to Burketown in the future. We might run into you somewhere around this wonderful country.

We hope everyone has a wonderful Easter break. Stay safe on the roads enjoy some rest and relaxation. Spare a thought for everyone effected by the floods and support them any way you can. Come and check out the Gulf during your travels.

The sun is shining through. Unfortunately all roads to Burketown are closed due to flooded creeks and rivers. Looks like Easter will be very quiet šŸ¤«

We are back. Lots of travellers coming through. We are at reduced capacity for cabins and rooms due to the floods in March, but we are slowly getting things repaired and renovated. If you want to escape the winter cold, come to Burketown for some R&R.

Sorry to all our valued guests. Just giving you a heads up. The Burketown Caravan Park will be closed until further notice due to extensive flooding in the area. We don't know how long it will take for us to assess the damage at this stage.

To everyone who has supported us through 2022, we thank you so much. We hope you all have a wonderful Christmas and a Happy and Healthy New Year.
The park and shop will be closed from the 24th of December to the 2nd of January.
