After graduating from TAFE with an electronic qualification in 1994, The Director, Ian Porteous, started working in the Industry servicing the Bizerba brand of equipment for ESI Bizerba in Alphington. m 2006 to 2011 Slicer Fixx was engaged subcontracting for Global Food Equipment to do the preventive maintenance in the deli for Woolworth’s in Victoria. We serviced every store in Victoria (225 supermarkets 4 times a year) for the 5 year period, during this time we gained an extreme amount of knowledge of the Bizerba and Omas brand slicers. The large volume problems found and repairs performed during this period lead to us being the most experienced diagnostic repair company in Victoria.
2008 Slicer Fixx was asked to train 50 technicians in the service and operation for the newly formed Coles City Maintenance group. We trained the technicians in preventive maintenance tasks and general breakdown issues, Since 2006 Slicer Fixx has also trained several of the Global Food Equipment employees in breakdown repairs. From 2004 till Present Slicer Fixx have been the only company in Australia to specialise in the Bizerba A400 industrial meat slicers. We currently service every company in Victoria and have machines sent to us for service for other states for service and repairs. We carry a wide range of parts to suit the Bizerba A400 and offer the best competitive rates in the country with the most experience.
