Dear Valued Community Members,
We’ve been seeing some recent comments and discussions online suggesting that stores like ours are increasing prices to make more profit. We truly understand the frustration behind these feelings, especially when everyday expenses keep rising. It’s not easy for anyone right now, and we genuinely feel that too.
We want to speak openly and honestly with you — the recent hike in fuel prices has been very steep, mainly due to global conflicts and situations beyond anyone’s control. This has had a direct impact on transportation and supply costs, which in turn affects many of the products we bring into our store. Oaks Store Management ( Kris & Roy) has made a conscious decision to absorb much of the impact and avoid passing these increases on to you, keeping our community in mind.
However, we want you to know this from the bottom of our hearts — we are not increasing prices to make extra profit. In fact, many of our in-store items are costing us more than before, but we have chosen not to pass most of these increases on to you. As a local business, we are part of this community, and we deeply care about each and every one of you.
It’s honestly been a challenging time for us as well, and hearing that we might be taking advantage of the situation is quite disheartening. We are doing our very best to balance rising costs while still supporting our customers.
We kindly ask for your understanding, trust, and continued support during this difficult period. It truly means a lot to us.
Attaching the buying price of our fuel at the moment and there will be delivery fee too on that. And supplier notices regarding price increase on the in-store products
With gratitude and respect,
Oaks Store Management
