Casual / Full Time Car Detailer Required

Bundaberg Smash Repairs are looking for a Detailer to help with taking delivery and handover of vehicles, washing cars etc

This position would be fantastic for a retired person or someone who is looking for extra hours that is able to demonstrate safe work practices, work unsupervised, take directions and work in a team environment .

Junior Detailer Required

Bundaberg Smash Repairs are looking for a full time Junior Detailer to help with taking delivery and handover of vehicles, washing cars, helping tradesmen etc

This position would be fantastic to a person who has a drivers license, recently left or is ready to leave school and to the right candidate it may lead to an apprenticeship. They must be-able to demonstrate safe work practices, work unsupervised, take directions and work in a team environment .

Bundaberg Smash Repairs are looking for a Parts and Purchasing Coordinator to join our team and keep our high-performing workshop running smoothly. This is an exciting opportunity to showcase your parts knowledge and work in a friendly environment that acknowledges that work life balance is important and safety is paramount.
What we're looking for:
• Strong knowledge of automotive parts
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with workshop staff
• Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• A keen eye for identifying cost-saving and efficiency improvement opportunities
What you'll be doing
• Accurately receiving, cataloguing and storing parts for the technicians
• Maintaining records of all parts and inventory levels
• Proactively ordering parts to meet the workshop's requirements
• Liaising with workshop technicians to understand their parts needs and ensure timely availability
• Quality control of receiving and returning car back to customers
About You
You’re organised, confident, and happy working in a team environment. You enjoy helping both customers and technicians, and you can stay on top of multiple tasks at once. Ideally, you have:
• Experience in scheduling, admin, front-of-house, or coordination
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Good attention to detail and problem-solving ability
• Confidence using computer systems and learning new software
• Experience in automotive industry (preferred but not essential)

Panel Be**ers Required

Bundaberg Smash Repairs are looking for 3 full time Panel be**ers to join our team. They must be-able to demonstrate safe work practices and work unsupervised.

Our tradesmen have heaps of room with a work area of 2 bays, their own fans, work bench, racking for parts, dust extraction, belly lift to save your backs and much much more.

We also have a relatively new Car-O-Liner 5.2mtr Rack, Car-O-Tronic and welders etc and are always investing in new equipment to help make the job easier

Bundaberg Smash Repairs has officially joined the TESLA Approved Body Shop network!

We are now listed on the Tesla Approved Body Shop website as a “Satellite Repairer” between Rockhampton and the Sunshine Coast

Our Technicians are now comprehensively trained in repairing Electric and Hybrid Vehicles.

HQ UTE - Has left the building
We have had this old girl in our shop for approx 18/24 months now but today we were able to hand it over to the owner Rob. With over 650 hours have gone into it, the expression on Robs face when he seen it was well worth it.

Stan, Keith and Scott have really excelled in this one and I'm so lucky and proud to have them on on our team because the attention to detail is second to none.

This build took a lot longer than we anticipated and i thank Rob for his understanding but we are a Smash Shop and NOT a Resto Shop so as they say ""ALL GOOD THINGS COME TO PEOPLE WHO WAIT"" and we got there in the end
